Oval earrings in gold-plated brass and silk. Height 3 cm. Clip fastening. Made in Italy
Clip-on earrings are making a comeback in the fashion world with all the charm of retro elegance. Initially popular in the Victorian era to avoid piercing earlobes, they became a symbol of style in the fifties and sixties, before reasserting themselves in the iconic eighties. Today, clip-on earrings are trending once again, loved not only by those without piercings, but also by those who appreciate their vintage, bold style.
The Botton Clips collection by Lebole Maison revisits this timeless accessory with a contemporary twist, combining gold-galvanized brass and fine silk from antique Japanese kimonos. The frames, symmetrical and harmonious, enclose symbolic images dear to the Maison: in the round version, you find Koi carp, the wave, and Mount Fuji; in the oval variant, Kanji—Japanese symbols rich in meaning—appear alongside bamboo, an emblem of strength and stability.
Entirely Made in Italy, these fabric clip-on earrings from Japan combine tradition, design, and craftsmanship. Perfect for those looking for original, lightweight accessories that are full of personality and capable of telling a story, they are ideal for stylishly completing any look, from the most classic to the most creative.
